GRAPE VARIETIES: 85% Tempranillo, 10% Mazuelo, 5% Graciano selected grapes from 35 years old vines coming from “Pago El Rincón”, located at own vineyard “Viña Lanciano”.
WINEMAKING: Fermentation of destalked grapes took place under controlled temperature around 28ºC in stainless steel tanks on the first few days. Then it was macerated for four weeks in order to extract a good colour from the cap of skins. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak.
AGEING: During 6 months in new French oak and 4 months in new Russian oak casks.
Wine without clarification and filtration, having these been produced by natural meanings due to natural sedimentation and decantation in barrel.
TASTING NOTES: Intense and bright cherry colour. Aromas of dark ripe fruit, blackberry, plum, blackcurrant. Spicy and mineral hints result of the terroir in our vineyard, all surrounded by the Ebro river. Full in the mouth, long and persistent finish.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Ideal partner for red meats and spicy dishes.
Limited edition of 37.000 bottles.
Serve at 17-19 º C ( 62-66º F).
