Château de Camarsac Thierry Lurton Red Bordeaux
95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc
A pretty deep color, Cuvée Classique is intense nose with aromas of red fruits accompanied by a slight spicy note. The attack is soft with a pleasant tannic evolution.
The imposing fortress of the Château de Camarsac, surrounded by its vineyard, is one of the most astonishing sites of the Bordeaux region. Built during the 12th century, the estate has been occupied by the Black Prince, Duquesclin, Lord of Canteloup and the Marquis de Geres. Purchased by Lucien Lurton in 1973 and now under the direction of Thierry Lurton, Château de Camarsac aims to make wines that are smooth yet structured. The combination of family know-how, modern techniques, tradition and passion makes these wines a worthy representative of the excellence of Bordeaux.
