GRAPE VARIETIES: 100% Tempranillo select grapes coming from 4 parcels located in Haro (Rioja Alta).
WINEMAKING: Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks around 25ºC in order to maintain all his aromatic potential and colour extraction.
Microxigenation was carried out before malolatic fermentation as well as lees removal to obtain a major volumen in the mouth and a balance of the tannins.
AGEING: During 10 months in new American oak (65%) and French oak barrels (35%) followed by one year of ageing in the bottle.
TASTING NOTES: Intense red cherry colour with violet nuances. Aromas of red and black fruits blended with the notes of coffee, liquorice and chocolate. Tasty on the mouth, elegante and silky on the palate, leaving a long and lingering finish.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Red and grilled meats, smoked dishes, cured cheeses.
Serve at 16º – 18º C (60-64 º F).
