Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio

Medium-bodied, dry. Citrus and apricot on the nose with more stone fruit on the palate. Finishes with orange bitters, pine, and minerals.
Located near the foothills of Colli Goriziani (3 miles west of Slovenia), Borgo Savaian di Bastiani Stefano is a family winery with just 44 acres of indigenous varietals. Aransat (Friulian for orange) is a blend of de-stemmed Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc fermented on the skins and macerated for about 90 days to get a gorgeous Sherry-like orange color.
